The role of a Conveyancer is to attend to the transfer of a property between Vendors and Purchasers. We have an obligation to both Vendors and Purchasers to ensure their interest in a property is transferred with the utmost care and professionalism.

A Conveyancer is required to hold special qualifications and be licensed to perform such important legal transactions. This involves a series of complex tasks which we undertake on your behalf.

Buying or selling

When you are buying or selling a property, we attend to the following:

  • Liaise with your bank concerning mortgages and new loans.
  • Ensure conditions of contracts are met
  • Prepare legal documentation
  • Obtain appropriate statutory searches
  • Adjust rates and taxes to settlement date and provide for their payment
  • Prepare Vendor and Purchaser statements and receive monies for settlement.
  • Arrange and attend settlement with outgoing and incoming banks
  • Certify documents and pay appropriate Stamp duties
